Ginisang Ampalaya (Bitter Gourd)- by Abey sa Kusina

Ingredients:
  • onion
  • garlic
  • tomato
  • salt
  • pork giniling or pork liempo
  • egg
  • ground black pepper (paminta)
  • patis or fish sauce
  • ampalaya or bitter gourd
  • cooking oil


Procedure:

  1. Soak chopped bitter gourd into warm water and salt in about 10 minutes and strain to remove water.
  2. Sautee garlic and onion into frying pan
  3. Add tomato
  4. Ad the pork till it cooked
  5. Add fish sauce and add water (optional)
  6. Add the ground black pepper
  7. Put bitter gourd til half cook
  8. Bit the egg and pour over the bitter gourd and wait until it will partially cook
  9. Serve.







Ginataang Tilapya - by Abey sa Kusina



Ingredients:
  • onion
  • garlic
  • ginger
  • ground black pepper (paminta)
  • salt
  • coconut milk (gata)
  • pepper (siling haba)
  • tilapia
  • pechay
  • cooking oil


Procedure:
  1. Marinate the fish with salt atleast 10 minutes, this will
    give additional taste to the fish
  2. Mag gisa ng onion and garlic
  3. Ilagay ang ginger
  4. Ilagay ang gata, lagyan ng kaunting tubig kung ayaw ng masyadong malapot at pakuluin
  5. Maglagay ng paminta at asin
  6. Ilagay ang isda kasabay ang siling haba or kung gusto ng medyo spicy maglagay ng pulang sili
  7. Kapag ang isda ay half cook na ilagay ang pechay hanggang maluto
  8. And then serve. enjoy! Happy eating:)
